Eigenvectors are useful!

The doorbell rings. Two very nice ladies are at the door holding bibles. I groan.
"Have you ever wondered how our actions as mortals have affected God?"
"Right now its finals time, and all I'm wondering about is how to find a basis of eigenvectors and eigenvalues for a linear transform."
"Oh, it's finals time? What's an eigenvalue? Never mind, its math stuff, right?"
"Right."
"Have a nice day!"
Wow, I knew eigenvectors were useful, but I never dreamed that they were THAT useful!
