Philip Aaronson

I had left a comment on Philip Greenspun's blog about his post Our new library in Cambridge, but he deleted it. I can't remember exactly what I said, or how I offended, but the gist of my comment was this. He's right, people with more rooms in their home than they know what to do with, and with large enough incomes so they don't notice their Amazon or broadband bills, for those people, the library doesn't do much. For the rest of the population however, the library is a great deal.

I'm going off track from my original comment now, but seriously. Give kids a place to go study without a couple of their siblings bothering them every fifteen seconds. And we should have a place where someone between jobs can get away from the kids and put in some study time. It all comes back around.
